On November 30, 2021, representatives of the Belarusian Olympic Academy Guslistova Irina Iosifovna – Chairman of the Presidium, Aponchuk Natalya Valerievna – director, Garusova Ekaterina Vitalievna – leading specialist, took part in the V International conference “Development of steel and decline in sport: problems and prospects”, which was organized by National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The conference was held on November 29-30 in an online format.

The main directions of the conference were designated as follows:

1. Modern social, environmentally friendly, economical issues in the aspect of the concept of sustainable development of the sphere of physical culture and sports.
2. Olympic Sports and Olympic Education in the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals: Integration of Science and Practice.
3. Health-improving and recreational physical activity – healthy lifestyle – healthy nation.
4. Actual problems of physical culture and sports and achieving the goals of sustainable development.

Irina Iosifovna Guslistova, Chairperson of the Presidium of the Belarusian Olympic Academy, took part in a section session with a report “Implementation of the content of Olympic education in the education system of the Republic of Belarus”.

The participation of the Belarusian Olympic Academy in scientific events of the National University of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine has already become a good tradition.
