In December 2020, the Belarusian Olympic Academy, with the support of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, launched the international Art-project “Olympic Online Gallery”. The main theme of the creative exhibition for 2021 was the past Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo. We received an incredible amount of drawings and were inspired to continue working in this direction!

Soon, a grand event awaits us, a holiday of sports that unites all athletes and sports fans – from 4 to 20 February the XXIV Olympic Winter Games will be hosted by the capital of the People’s Republic of China, the city of Beijing. We are pleased to announce the upcoming Olympic Winter Games as the main theme of the online exhibition and look forward to your work.

International Art-project “Olympic Online Gallery” is a unique opportunity for some to get acquainted with the Olympic movement through art and creativity, for others – to express themselves and become a part of the Olympic movement.

Within the framework of the Art-project “Olympic online gallery” all directed works that meet the thematic and technical requirements will be posted on the website of the Belarusian Olympic Academy www.olympic-academy.by in the “Art-project” section and everyone will be able to get acquainted with them and be inspired.

The motive for launching the project was the great desire of the organizers to draw attention to the uniqueness of the Olympic movement, which embodies the fundamental principles of the Olympic Charter – the unity of sport, culture and education.

The aim of the project is to familiarize children and youth with the principles of the Olympic movement, to promote Olympic values ​​and to popularize sports and a healthy lifestyle.

The main task of the project is to create conditions for self-development, cognition and realization of the individual, fostering a culture of a healthy lifestyle by means of sports and art in the system of Olympic education.

• Do you like drawing, sculpting or making crafts?

In order for your work to take its rightful place in our “Olympic Online Gallery”, it must express the Olympic spirit and reflect solidarity with Olympic values.

Each project participant will be awarded a certificate.
