The main tasks
"Belarusian Olympic Academy" are:
- Study of the international Olympic and sports movement.
- Clarification and dissemination of the values and principles of Olympism, the goals and objectives of the Olympic movement, the Olympic Games, popularization of the contribution of representatives of the Republic of Belarus to the Olympic movement.
- Encouragement and support for the development of mass sports, sports of the highest achievements.
- Encouraging and supporting initiatives that combine sports, culture and education.
- Encouragement and support of initiatives to achieve sustainable development goals for sports, environment.
- Assistance in the organization and coordination of research work on the problems of the international Olympic and sports movement, the introduction of modern technologies in the field of physical culture and sports, sports medicine, sports rehabilitation, psychological support for athletes.
- Establishing relations with international and national state, public scientific organizations, leading scientists and specialists in the field of the international Olympic and sports movement, sports medicine in order to widely use scientific achievements and technologies in sports and educational activities.
